I think of you when I'm alone

I feel the aching in my bones

Your absence like a crushing stone

It's hard to carry on alone

I miss you more than I can say

Your kind heart, your loving way

The way you made my troubles go away

The way you'd always be there to stay

I miss the laughter and the tears

The moments that we held so dear

The things that we shared through the years

That no one else will ever hear

My heart is heavy, my eyes are wet

I really miss you, I can't forget

But I know you're happy and at rest

And I'm so thankful for all the time we did our best.
